1. What we store
HisabNow stores profile, groups, members, expenses, splits, settlements, inbox items, and CSV mapping templates locally on your Android device.
2. What we share
We do not upload your local split database to a dedicated HisabNow server in this version. Data leaves your device only when you explicitly share/export it (for example WhatsApp, UPI apps, file sharing).
3. Ads and identifiers
HisabNow uses Google Mobile Ads SDK for banner ads. The SDK may process advertising identifiers and device signals according to Google policies.
4. Permissions
- INTERNET for ads and outbound sharing links
- VIBRATE for light haptic feedback
- AD_ID for ad measurement/personalization controls
5. Retention and deletion
Data remains on-device until removed. You can delete all local app data at any time from Settings > Data Controls > Delete Local Data.
